It was my birthday and we had several drinks to celebrate the occasion, despite your illness we had a good laugh and I am so glad that we spent that time together.
You really opened up to me and some of our conversations were sad but one in particular filled me with pride.
I will miss you and I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to say goodbye.
Or maybe we did over a pint of two!!
